Carrie + Joe: Featured!

Carrie and Joe had the most beautiful September wedding at The Inn at Huntingfield Creek in Maryland. Their two shar peis wore floral collars, Carrie donned the most incredible BHLDN gown, and it was all captured by my talented friend Carly, owner of Two Spoons Photography. I am also thrilled to say that Carrie and Joe's wedding was featured on one of my favorite wedding blogs, A Practical Wedding, yesterday!

Afterthought

Sometimes the things that are left- things that are often viewed as an afterthought- will surprise you with how lovely they prove themselves to be. At the end of an incredibly lovely (and challenging) double wedding weekend, the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was look at flowers. Then I had a flower blackout (I just get so overwhelmed with all of the beauty- I just kind of glaze over) and this guy was the result. The only goal was to not let these stems die in a bucket in my dark, unswept office. Turns out, these were anything but an afterthought.
